The framework for the Lundbeck Foundation’s activities
At the Lundbeck Foundation, we have a range of policies that support our purpose and provide the framework for the Foundation’s activities. The policies set out the principles and standards that help ensure responsible and transparent management of the Foundation.
The Board of Directors discusses the policies annually to ensure that they remain current and relevant.
Policies
- Grant Policy
We award grants to advance research and charitable purposes in accordance with the Lundbeck Foundation’s statutes. Our Grant Policy describes the overall framework for the Foundation’s grant activities.
- Grant Governance Policy
We work systematically and on a strong academic foundation with our grant activities to ensure responsible decisions and high quality. Our Grant Governance Policy describes how we process, assess and decide on grants.
- Investment Policy
We invest with a long-term and responsible perspective to ensure a stable financial foundation for the Lundbeck Foundation’s grants. Our Investment Policy describes the framework for how we manage the Foundation’s capital.
- Tax Policy
We manage tax responsibly and transparently as an integral part of the Lundbeck Foundation’s governance and social responsibility. Our Tax Policy describes how we approach tax as part of responsible governance, risk management and transparency.
- Renumeration Policy
At the Lundbeck Foundation, our Remuneration Policy sets the framework for remuneration within the Foundation. The policy ensures a responsible and transparent practice that supports the Foundation’s long-term objectives.

We work responsibly with sustainability to support the Lundbeck Foundation’s purpose and long-term value creation. Our Sustainability Policy describes how we integrate sustainability into our activities.
- Data Ethics Policy
At the Lundbeck Foundation, we work with data responsibly and with respect for the people whom the data concerns. Our Data Ethics Policy describes the overall principles that provide the framework for how we use and manage data at the Lundbeck Foundation.
- Communications Policy
We communicate clearly, accurately and responsibly to strengthen trust and support the Lundbeck Foundation’s relations with the world around us. Our Communications Policy describes the principles for how the Lundbeck Foundation communicates with employees, partners, the media and the public.
