IMMUNO-DIS3L2 AND NEUROINFLAMMATION: Crosstalk between RNA metabolism and INF signalling in neurons

IMMUNO-DIS3L2 aims to understand how loss of the RNA-decay enzyme DIS3L2 causes neurons to accumulate double-stranded RNAs that activate harmful interferon responses. Using CRISPR screening, neuronal models and a Dis3l2 mouse line, the project will identify molecular pathways driving neuroinflammation and reveal targets for future therapies.
