Autism and ADHD are childhood mental disorders that often persist into adulthood. Both are strongly influenced by genes, and they share some of the same genetic risk factors. However, symptoms and outcomes vary widely between individuals. Understanding how genes relate to these differences can help us better understand what causes these conditions and develop more personalized treatments.
