Prenatal Care in Twins (PRECAT): Incidence, causal factors and novel diagnostics of complications
Rigshospitalet
PRECAT is a research project to improve prenatal care for families expecting twins. The project uses Danish health records, a new blood test from the pregnant woman that analyses fetal cells, and computer models trained on ultrasound scans. The aim is to improve detection of genetic disorders and growth problems, and reduce the need for risky invasive procedures. This will support safer, more personalised care and better long-term health for twins and their families.
